2 Cats (male & female) - 2 Yrs Old - Both neutered (indoor or outdoor)
Freckles – she is a sweet playful tabby named for the black spots that go down her nose. I have had her since she was about 8 weeks old. She was the runt of the liter. She loves to snuggle up at night under your arm or up against your back. She loves to be petted, rubbed, etc...but not on her tummy. She will rub your legs to death! She is my favorite just because I have had her longer. As far as we know she will be 2 sometime in April 2009.
Marley – he is a solid black cat that is a big coward! He is afraid of everything. Even after almost a year with me he still jumps...I think that is mostly because I have to get after him for eating to fast and too much! I started feeding them separate because Freckles would growl at him. It was funny. Marley loves to lie near you so you can scratch his belly.
Both cats love to be loved. Both like to go outside especially Freckles. I wouldn’t let them out until they are used to you and know they need to come home to you to get fed. Both of them will dart out if you don’t watch them. Marley will be scared at first so shut your bedroom doors she he can’t run under the bed. Maybe sit on the floor with them with a goodie and I bet he will come to you quickly! They generally play with each other and both like to chase the laser light dot - even jumping up to try and catch it!
I have a dome liter box I can send with them. Any cat food and liter I have I will send too! I will be happy to send everything! You really can’t help but fall in love with them!
I feed them IAMS dry food and Sheba or Fancy Feast can food at night. I generally split a small can of the wet food between them...a little more to Marley because he is so much bigger.
No experience for them with flap doors. Freckles will be fine with it as soon as she knows she can come and go...Marley will too, but he will be scared at first. He is such a big baby...its funny because Freckles is smaller than him. They will love a porch. I will send everything I have! They don’t have too many toys because I have a 6 year old and they like all of his stuff. They love to play...I would take a stem from some monkey grass in the yard and get Freckles to chase it...jump....its amazing how far they can jump! A laser light will bring both of you hysterical laughs. I could make Marley take a running leap up the wall chasing the red light.
I still give Freckles a little milk in the morning...have since the day I got her. Sometimes Marley will drink a little but Freckles will growl at him (she sounds like a dog growling...its pretty funny) so if he seems interested I will give a tiny bit.
